Corrections Policy

Accuracy is part of the product. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly, note what changed, and keep the record clear.

How corrections work

If a fact is wrong, we correct it in the article, add context where needed, and avoid burying the change in a way that confuses the reader. The goal is transparency, not theater.

Factual errors are corrected promptly
Material changes are noted clearly in the story
Reader submissions are reviewed by the newsroom

What qualifies

We correct names, numbers, dates, claims, and attribution when the evidence supports a fix. Opinion can be debated; factual reporting must be accurate.
